Stockhorn
The Stockhorn area has 70 kilometres of marked hiking trails. A real paradise for walkers and mountain hikers, although climbers, paragliders and those looking for an adrenalin-kick also get more than their money’s worth. more
Diemtigtal
The wonderful lake landscape in the Diemtigtal valley: The Seeberg lake above Zwischenflüh and Schwenden, and the Aegelsee lake with its high-altitude moorland, are very popular. more
Niesen
The Niesen offers a magnificent view of the triumvirate of the Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau. Travel there with the nostalgic funicular railway, which will be celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2010. more
Gantrisch
The Gantrisch Panorama Trail is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Bernese Voralpen region. This popular hiking trail lies within the local recreational area of the cities of Fribourg, Bern and Thun, and offers a marvellous view. more
