Gantrisch

The Gantrisch Panorama Trail is one of the most popular hiking routes. The  Panoramaweg lies in the local recreational area of the cities of Fribourg, Bern and Thun, and is considered to be one of the most beautiful trails in the Bernese Voralpen area.

The Gantrisch Panorama Trail leads from Zollhaus in Fribourg (908 metres above sea level) to Hällstett (1,414 m), over the Horbühlpass (1,575 m) via Pfyffe (1,666 m), Süfternen Kreuzung (1,520 m), and from Schüpfenfluh (1,721 m) onto the Gurnigel mountain (1,540 m).

The view in all directions is unique along the whole trail: Looking to the south guarantees a long-distance view of the Stockhorn chain, Nünenenfluh, Gantrisch, Bürglen and Ochsen; There is also an extensive view to the north.
