Niederhorn

The  Niederhorn attracts countless families in both the summer and the winter. In the winter, the many pistes invite you to come skiing or snowboarding, while you can explore nature in many different ways in the summer.

Kids’ Orienteering: Children can now explore the surroundings on two new   Orienteering Trails. The trails run through the area between Niederhorn and Vorsass.  Dirt scooters can be rented at Vorsass for the return journey to Beatenberg.

Wildlife observation: Many rare wild animals also have their homes on the Niederhorn. With a little luck, early risers may be rewarded with a sighting of ibex, chamois, marmots or a golden eagle. A local game specialist carries out   Guided tours on the Niederhorn.

Family offer on the Niesenbahn Railway: Families only pay for the first child for the journey into the Niederhorn. All additional children travel free, as long as they are accompanied by at least one parent.

Arriving with public transport: With the  SBB to Thun, and then take the STI bus No. 21 in the direction of Interlaken.
